Find your professor’s old quizzes and answer keys

admin

I have a professor that maintains a webpage where he posts quizzes after we have had them and the answer key, a very convenient service and I’m thankful for it. But the class is Economics and as journalism major, I suck at math.

And then it occurred to me that he had to have had former pages from former years with old quizzes and their answer key. But how do I find the pages from last year that he has already taken down?

The way back machine is your friend.

The way back machine keeps archives of every page on the internet. So you can see what Google looked like in 1998. However you can also see what your professor put up on his web page last semester, possibly getting links to answer keys of test past, thus helping your studies.

Here what to do:

1. Go to http://www.archive.org/web/web.php.

2. Type in your professor’s site

3. And pick the relevant date.

I used Google and found their old logo.

If your professor keeps a website imagine the old documents you may be able to dig up.
