\"FacebookFacebook is beginning to realize that “poking” just isn’t as cool as it used to be, and has enlisted the help of others through the implementation on an API.<\/p>\n

Whats an API?\u00c2\u00a0 For the technical version visit Wikipedia<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 But the basic version is that essentially anybody has access to the stuff that makes Facebook tick and can develop third party applications for Facebook.<\/p>\n

So far the only application made is FaceBank, a budgeting tracking tool.<\/p>\n

Either way, if you are handy with code. head on over to the developer section<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 And you can bet I’ll keep you guys\u00c2\u00a0abreast of some of the cooler apps.<\/p>\n

Badges<\/h2>\n

Facebook also added the ability to create “badges”.\u00c2\u00a0 Just look below your profile picture for a link that says “Create a Profile Badge”.\u00c2\u00a0 You will be then taken to this screen:<\/p>\n
